Up for auction is this beautiful handmade damascus Yanagi ba

Blade is HHH damascus Tsunami pattern. is approx. 260mm tip to heel.  aprox 10 1/4″   Measuring approx 37mm tall at the heel. and approx 3mm thick at spine above the heel. rounded spine and choil for added comfort in use. Right hand ground single bevel with Ura.

Handle is a simply gorgeous piece of ambonia burl with a ferrule made from spalted maple. Both materials are professionally stabilized.  The construction is a Dovetail and the shape is tapering octagon  Handle measures approx 150mm or 5 7/8″ long

OAL of knife and handle is 328mm OR 16 13/16″

Saya is included. Its cocobolo with custom pin made from the matching woods used in the saya with copper mosaic pin.
